MT. KABUNIAN VLOG ⛰️ : Surviving a major day hike during an April heatwave 🌞 | Shot on Sony Alpha 📷

The Stairway to Heaven of Mt. Kabunian was all over my Tiktok FYP during the last year. I knew I had to try it out for myself. The stairway was okay because of the railings, but the rest of the trail during a heatwave? I wasn't ready for that lol.

Kabunian, despite being in Benguet, was a very hot hike. We didn't have enough water (my bad) which caused dehydration and headaches. I was certain I was running on nothing but adrenaline all throughout the 16 stations AND BACK. There weren't a lot of other joiner groups either (probably because of the heat) but that made our breaks peaceful like the mountains were ours alone. So even if I hated myself a lot during the hike for getting provoked by a Tiktok video, I'm happy we did it 😊
