How to make Stephan Bodzin's Singularity with an analog synth | Moog Subsequent37 + Ableton Live

Описание к видео How to make Stephan Bodzin's Singularity with an analog synth | Moog Subsequent37 + Ableton Live

This week's a special treat: we do a "how to make" for Stephan Bodzin's signature track "Singularity", BUT we don't use virtual instruments – instead we use a real synthesizer. The classic Moog Subsequent37 makes exactly the kind of sounds you need to recreate this deep house / deep techno masterpiece.

Particularly this is a masterclass in a particular workflow that involves tweaking an analog synth driven by a pre-programmed MIDI sequence sent from Ableton Live. The key magic happens when you can get lost in sound design, and hunt for sweet spots that give you goosebumps.

A note on the gear:
The pedal I use with this Moog is the Audiothingies DoctorA (great performance pedal!)
The audio interface I'm using to send MIDI and record audio is the Steinberg UR44
