Even with trying to unlock achievements, this sure was a poor choice of mine to have undergone to have seen through.

But I had to see it.

The "bad ending" to Code Vein, finally complete. To achieve this was to not either pick up vestiges of Aurora, Nicola, Emila, Eva and Io, and/or restore them; this end result....I didn't know WHAT to think.

Just immediately after defeating Gregorio Silva does our character start going into a frenzy and digs her way into his body to retrieve the vestiges that were taken in. What would have been presumed the holding of their power, the opposite happened. With power overmuch coursing through the body, and with the other vestiges of the other Successors, ours, even the more daunting of them all, Successor of the Blood, triggers the unwanted scenario:
the return of The Queen.
Taking over the body, her attack would begin, but Louis......ended it before Jack did. With the other Successors faded away on this path, so too were we the next in line. And unfortunately as it was mentioned, that whomever was to stop Gregorio Silva would have to embrace the blood throne for eternity; and because we interjected via frenzy, that course still applied even unto us.

Yakumo, lost without Emily Tsu.....Mia, with Nicola; Jack, to Eva.....and even Louis to his own sister Karen, who was a Successor that provided the blood beads all throughout the gaol. The worst of this was Io, turning to ash by the very first mistle sprouted at the start of the game.

This ending, seems parallel to the "Neutral" ending, "For Eternity"; it came to mind that anyway you slice it, Io fades away.

It's not until the cliffhanger of the "Good" ending that there's implication of Io returning.......but with THIS ending result, it makes me wonder if......in THAT ending.....despite Io purifying the vestiges, was there any possible implication of the Queen's return? Would it have secretly been Cruz Silva incarnated?
