Solo Mutation: #1 Train of the Dead - Artanis (9/3/2024)

Mutation Description: "The infested terrans on Tarsonis are everywhere. They're in the ground. They're on the trains. Before long, they'll be in your base. And you may never see them coming."

Mutators:

Darkness - Previously explored areas remain blacked out on the minimap while outside of player vision.

Outbreak - Continuous waves of the infested horde march against the commanders' bases.

Walking Infested - Every enemy unit that commanders destroy will spawn infested terrans. The more life a unit has, the more infested will rise from its corpse.

Enemy Composition: Devouring Scourge

Kimmo's Notes: I detested doing this run but the completionist in me compelled me to do it. But I was also compelled because I wanted to prove to myself that I can play well enough to overcome the handicaps that Artanis has on P0. It also helps to know that before prestiges, this was done before.

Since you cannot rely on power alone, you need your Nexus up and running very early to establish your 2-base economy. And it will also help in having units throughout the times that infested will harass your bases. Eventually, when the Abberations come, they will eventually overrun your defenses and there's nothing you can do to stop it at some point when you're trying to get the last trains.

You'll be using Zealots for when the waves have Zerglings in them. But once they stop, you can focus almost exclusively on Dragoon/Immortal with the occasional Templar-Archon mixed in.

When the endgame comes, focus on the last trains and hope your forces last long enough for you to deal the last amount of damage necessary to win (survive).
