Watch how iconic Danner boots are made in NE Portland factory

For the first time, Danner, the iconic Portland-based boot company, offers free tours to the public at their 59,000-square-foot facility in Northeast Portland.

Visitors can watch how icons like the Mountain Light Cascade (worn by Reese Witherspoon in “Wild”) and other classic boots are constructed from start to finish.

On the tour, you’ll learn a bit about the company’s history and watch the many detailed steps involved in boot making, everything from leather inspection and waterproof testing to final assembly.
