Taking Apart the Shimano Cassette! Is it possible? (YES.)

Описание к видео Taking Apart the Shimano Cassette! Is it possible? (YES.)

Shimano Cassette can be disassembled with some drilling. It's a lot easier than I thought! I did this as my 10-speed Shimano Cassette was either going into the trash with a bent 32T or salvaging it by taking apart the cassette.

Problem #2: With the upgraded BBSHD mid-drive ebike kit and pushing 4000 watts, the torque is causing the cassette to dig into the aluminum hub shell with less than 200 miles! A steel hub shell will be installed before the weekend!

Tools you'll need:
1. If you don't have a cassette removal tool, get one!
2. A chain whip
3. Cobalt 8% drill bit (preferably)
4. Center punch is very helpful!

The Shimano cog model is CS-HG50-10.
