Use airbags rated for the load and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

Never work under or near a load supported only by an inflated bag — use mechanical supports and blocks as secondary safety.
If you’re unsure about structural or load-bearing complications, hire or consult a licensed pro.

Inflatable lifting/positioning airbag(s) rated for the door weight
Hand tools for hinge installation (screwdriver, drill/driver)
Shims and a wedge set
Level and square
Protective blocks/cribbing for backup support
