Farhang Hosts the Largest Nowruz Celebrations in the World - March 10, 2019

On March 10, 2019, Farhang Foundation was proud to host the largest celebration of Nowruz in the world on the beautiful campus of UCLA! Thank you to all who join us to help welcome Nowruz to Los Angeles. This all-day free event featured live music, dance, children's activities and our annual joyful Spring Walk featuring the UCLA Bruin Marching Band. The event concluded with a beautiful and rare concert by the grande dame of Iranian music, Parisa accompanied by her masterful ensemble of Pejman Hadadi, Ali Pajooheshgar, Amir Hosein Pourjavady, and Saeed Kamjoo. Special thanks to all the performers who joined for this magnificent celebration, including Arezoo Koochakan and the LA DAF Ensemble, the Djanbazian Dance Academy, Robyn Friend and the Firuze Dance Company, DJ Arin Babaian, Negar Estakhr and Nargol Rashidian, the Melody Children's Ensemble and @vVandad Massahzadeh and last but not least After Eight event Planning & Design for the beautiful grand Haft Sîn they designed.
