Logic Pro: Distortion for Mix Enhancement

Описание к видео Logic Pro: Distortion for Mix Enhancement

I do hope that non-guitarists have long-since given up any sense that Distortion treatments are exclusively the domain of the axe-wielders in and amongst the Composition and Production community. But just in case you need further persuasion, this week’s video is going to explore an assortment of ways in which Saturation and Distortion treatments can enhance your productions. ‘Distortion’ isn’t actually a particularly useful word when it comes to describing what happens when we reach for a processor which falls into that categorisation; it’s much better to remember that Distortion FX add harmonic content, enriching sounds with new, raspy, brasher, bolder overtones which sizzle and bite and produce more power and swagger. I’m going to explore a few different options for sounds within the context of an electronic production, to make everything a bit more punchy and driven.
