What does discipleship mean to you?

What does discipleship mean to you? For many, it’s a sort of initiation, training that conveys the “ABCs” of the Christian faith. But what if it was so much more than that…?

In Matthew 11:29, Yeshua-Jesus extended this powerful invitation: “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me.” In ancient Israel, the “yoke” (an agricultural tool) was a metaphor for being connected to a rabbi, which is why Yeshua mentioned learning in that verse. A rabbi is a teacher who doesn’t just provide the basics—he takes you into deeper study AND practical application of that truth.
