Odisha’s first “Forbes International Under 30” honourees, Twins Ms. Nishita & Ms. Nikita Baliarsingh are the founders of an eco-friendly battery tech company – Nexus Power, which builds Lithium free, biodegradable electric vehicle batteries from crop residue.

Inspired from the concepts of Industrial ecology and Bio – mimicry, Nexus is not only fastening the process of EV adaptation through the fast charging, cheap and energy efficient batteries, but is also facilitating massive growth in the agricultural industry as well.

Nexus has been a recipient of multiple awards since its inception in 2019. The girls have featured in Forbes 30 Under 30, Entrepreneur magazine’s “Shepreneur – Women to Watch”, Vogue India’s “Women at the workplace” special edition, MG motors & The better India’s “Change Makers – Season 3” to name a few.
