After Lefebvre crashing out Fourmaux with his M-Sport Ford Fiesta was handed the lead of the 2023 Ypres Rally. He fended of Chris Ingram in his Volkswagen Polo Gti Rally2 and Ypres Rally legend Freddy Loix (Skoda Fabia RS Evo Rally2) to earn his first and well deserved win in Ypres.

Many great drivers have tried to win the Ypres Rally over the years but very few have succeeded. You need to commit to every corner and stay concentrated a 120% from start to finish. There're no easy corners in Ypres! Bumpy, twisty and narrow. Sometimes very grippy tarmac but can be slippery as ice just the same. He joins some of the rallysports all-time greats on Ypres Rally's palmares such as Ott Tanak, Craig Breen (RIP), Thierry Neuville, Freddy Loix, Patrick Snijers, Robert Droogmans, Jimmy McRae, Henri Toivonen, Miki Biasion, Walter Röhl,...
