This is a rant/discussion on why it's harmful to constantly accuse black children of being "oreos" or "acting white," for simply trying to assimilate to American culture and enjoying what the majority likes.

As someone that's been called an oreo for the majority of my life, it hurts to hear that people are still coming after black children and making them feel bad for not being the stereotype.
