Big Picture: Action Plan Against Pak-Based Terror Groups

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval on Thursday called on member nations of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation to evolve an action plan to combat Pakistan-based terrorist outfits like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed.

Doval also emphasised adoption of international standards - including a potential MoU with the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) to counter financing of terrorist activity in the region.

The NSA's stern words came as his Pakistani counterpart - Moeed Yusuf - was present in the audience.
