একাদশী পারণঃ (একাদশী তিথির পরদিন উপবাস ব্রত ভাঙ্গার নিয়ম ) পঞ্জিকাতে একাদশী পারণের (উপবাসের পরদিন সকালে ) যে নির্দিষ্ট সময় দেওয়া থাকে, সেই সময়ের মধ্যে পঞ্চ রবিশস্য ভগবানকে নিবেদন করে প্রসাদ গ্রহণ করে পারণ করা একান্ত দরকার । নতুবা একাদশীর কোন ফল লাভ হবে না । একাদশী ব্রত পালনের প্রকৃত উদ্দেশ্য কেবল উপবাস করা নয়, নিরন্তর শ্রীভগবানের নাম স্মরণ, মনন, ও শ্রবণ কীর্তনের মাধ্যমে একাদশীর দিন অতিবাহিত করতে হয় । একাদশী পালনের দিন পরনিন্দা , পরিচর্চা, মিথ্যা ভাষণ, ক্রোধ দুরাচারী, স্ত্রী সহবাস সম্পূর্ণ রূপে নিষিদ্ধ ।
• ”একাদশ্যাং নিরাহারো ব্রতেনানেন কেশব।
প্রসীদ সুমুখ নাথ জ্ঞানদৃষ্টিপ্রদো ভব।।”
– এই মন্ত্র পাঠ করে নির্দিষট সময়ের মাঝে পারন করতে হয়।
• গীতা মাহাত্ম্যে উল্লেখ আছে-
” যোহধীতে বিষ্ণুপর্বাহে গীতাং শ্রীহরিবাসরে।
স্বপন জাগ্রৎ চলন তিষ্ঠন শত্রুভির্ন স হীয়তে।।”

~~ অর্থাৎ……শ্রী বিষ্ণুর পর্বদিনে, একাদশী ও জন্মাষ্টমীতে যিনি গীতা পাঠ করেন , তিনি চলুন বা দাড়িয়ে থাকুন, ঘুমিয়ে বা জেগে থাকুন,(যে অবস্থায়ই থাকুন না কেন) শত্রু কখনো তার কোন ক্ষতি করতে পারেনা। ।
