Since the release of Justice League on Blu-Ray and DVD many have taken a stand not to buy the movie until an official Snyder Cut is released on home video.  Some have gone as far as donating to the same Suicide Prevention Group (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention) that Zack and Deborah Snyder donate to.

Animation director Jay Oliva who worked with Zack Snyder as a storyboard artist on Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, saw a fan post his joy at seeing Justice League still on store shelves with no one buying it and explains to him that this is not going to make Warner Bros. cave in and make a Snyder Cut and is actually going to do the opposite and even affect future DC Films. Oliva goes on to explain further the same happens within the animation department of movie as well.

While the notion to boycott the film in the hopes of getting Snyder’s intended vision, it’s not logical for Warner Bros. to put more money into a movie that barely made its budget back in theaters and isn’t selling on home video.

A Snyder Cut isn’t confirmed to exist and if it does still needs ADR, visual FX and more to make it watchable. Even the Donner Cut of Superman 2 needed a budget from Warner Bros. to be completed and it wasn’t until they managed to get the rights back from Marlon Brando’s estate to his footage for Superman Returns were they able to get it done. Superman 2 always made the studio money, so it was a no brainer to release it.

So if you are a fan of Justice League and like it enough to watch it again, its important that you do buy the movie on homevideo. If there is a chance that Warner Bros.would add to the film’s budget for a Snyder Cut, they’ll only do it if they know they’ll make money from it.
