Living in Berlin vlog – Berlin Mornings, StaBi, Ishin, Haus der Kulturen der Welt, James Turrell

Howdy!

First of all, thank you for tuning in! 🌸 Last week was a summerly week here in Berlin! Since we moved to Mitte, we promised each other to walk at least 10k steps everyday, that's what we did, yay! 🌞

So walk with us, through our hood and explore the public library StaBi (Staatsbibliothek) and Haus der Kulturen der Welt with us. Two public places you can actually have to explore in silence. Not too crowded and not too busy. Perfect photography spots if you're into architecture. In between I'm making Vietnamese dessert at home but also we didn't want to gatekeep our go-to places that we go regularly, Banh Mi Stable and Ishin. As you know we love banh mi and that one has never disappointed in the past. Ishin is a Japanese Restaurant, canteen like place, with yummy food which is not too pricy. Last but not least we're visiting a cemetery around the corner, actually its chapel which was rebuilt in corporation with the artist James Turrell. You can visit it every weekend, the light installation in there begins always during sunset times.
