These are the last title defenses of WWE wrestlers. Part 3. Dean Ambrose’s last title defense was in January 2019 against Bobby Lashley and Seth Rollins for the Intercontinental Title. Ambrose and Lashley double teamed Seth, who then got up, superkicked Lashley and Ambrose followed. Lio Rush threw Seth out of the ring and Lashley hit Ambrose with a spear to win the title. Lashley’s last was in October 2022 when Brock Lesnar took him out. Lashley was injured and he was scheduled to face Seth for the US Title. Seth hit Lashley with the stomp and hit him with the second to win the title in less than three minutes. William Regal’s was in January 2009 against CM Punk in a no DQ match for the Intercontinental Title. Punk hit Regal with the GTS to win the title. Ricochet’s final one came in June 2022 against Gunther for the Intercontinental Title. Ricochet rolled through, hit Gunther with a dropkick, who then hit him with his own dropkick and followed by a powerbomb to win the title.
