We hatched four of these (well, we added the eggs to water) on the 20th August 2011. We also had 9 Fairy shrimp hatch, but the Triops have trimmed this down to 3! They seem to love hanging on in the current from the filter, rather than seeking a more peaceful area of the aquarium. One of them appears to be different from the others. The carapace has a red margin, it's more rounded, and there are no egg sacks visible. Could we have a male here?
