Using PTC Mathcad Prime and Creo Parametric to Apply Vertical Deflection Along a Metal Beam

Описание к видео Using PTC Mathcad Prime and Creo Parametric to Apply Vertical Deflection Along a Metal Beam

Jan Claeys, CAD consultant of 9altitudes, demonstrates how to use PTC Mathcad Prime in conjunction with 3D CAD tool Creo.
This demo Mathcad Prime 9 worksheet has a metal beam associated from a Creo Parametric model with imposed vertical deflection at several nodes along the beam. Which load do you need in order to realise a deformation? What are the vertical action forces, and what is the resulting maximum bending stress? The demo makes use of singularity functions.
Jan also explains the advantages and benefits to driving a Creo model using inputs calculated in an embedded Mathcad Prime worksheet, and the bi-directional nature of the integration.

This video is an excerpt of a fuller 30-minute discussion by Jan Claeys about using PTC Mathcad Prime 9. For the full discussion, including a quick walkthrough of the new-to-Prime-9 features used in his worksheet, please watch at https://www.ptc.com/en/resources/ptc-...
Thank you Jan Claeys for the demo!
