Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai tells the story of Naina and Sameer's teenage relationship. The magic of 'first love' is explored in the show. At her Ahmedabad school, Naina, a typical decent girl, meets the flamboyant Sameer. As soon as she meets him, she begins to like him. However, she is forced to tell the school administration the truth after witnessing Sameer assault another boy. Sameer's suspension and distaste for Naina follow from this. A string of misunderstandings between Sameer and Naina ensues after that. Sameer and his buddies wager that he will win Naina over to his way of thinking in order to get revenge for his insults. As Naina cares, what begins as a wager turns into genuine love for Sameer.
