Hey Ya'll,

Here is my updated simple and easy method to detangle my son's type 4 hair. He will be three soon and absolutely HATES getting his hair combed. His crying and fussing was so bad, I was going to have his hair cut prior to implementing this method. His hair is in a protective style (braids) most of the time, but detangling and washing, to prepare for his hair to be braided, was an absolute nightmare!

I decided to incorporate pre-pooing and washing his hair in twist into his regimen to see if it would help with the long and torturous wash day. This video wasn't planned, so I was not able to show his hair being washed in the tub, but I will make sure to get that footage next time.
