〽️ Wes is one of the tastiest fusion players in the game right now, so when he asked me to contribute some lines to this internet jam I felt a little more pressure than usual to come up with something neat.

〽️ I tried to show the bassline a little love, as well as find a balance between catchy melodies and angular interest 😹. After years of feeling like a fish out of water when playing solos to click tracks or anything that is relentlessly metronomic rather than the bit of pianistic rubato I'm used to, finally starting to feel more comfortable flexing in and out of time as desired, to hit the big beats but let it drift when the line seems to call for it.
