Two Rare Lionel Trains Archive Engineering Samples

Описание к видео Two Rare Lionel Trains Archive Engineering Samples

A look at two very special Lionel toy train pieces from the Archives.
First is a hand-built lighthouse that was proposed as a new accessory, probably in the early 50's. It is based off of the Lionel 394 Beacon with similar components. It was not made but would have been a very cool accessory today. It is made of wood and has copper wire railings. A really neat and Rare Lionel trains engineering mock-up.

Second is a what appears to be a Crane cab to update the Lionel 182 crane accessory??? It is made of heavy clear acrylic plastic and is painted yellow with metal strips adding rivet details and doors. Super detailed. Has 616 number designation but feels like a postwar creation.
Two great Lionel toy train accessories they should have made.

Part of the Rare and unusual Lionel Model trains shown on this channel.

Photos are from the Tom McComas and James Tuohy Reference books.
