Do you believe that nothing created everything—or that an eternal God, outside of time, spoke creation into existence?

I believe what Scripture declares:
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty, darkness covered the deep, and the Spirit of God hovered over the waters. God spoke, and light burst forth, separating day from night.

God formed the sky to divide the waters above from the waters below. He gathered the seas so dry land could appear and filled the earth with plants and trees. He placed the sun, moon, and stars to govern time and seasons. He filled the seas with life and the skies with birds, then created animals of every kind.

Finally, as the crown of creation, God made mankind in His own image—male and female—and blessed them to fill the earth and steward it.

On the seventh day, God rested.

This is what I believe.
