The essayist was born as Bertrand Arthur William Russell on 18 May 1872 and he died on 2 February 1970. He is always remembered in the English literature for his multiple contributions as a British philosopher, social critic as well as a logician. His work has made a great impact on various fields including set theory, mathematics, logic, computer science, cognitive science, artificial intelligence, linguistics, philosophy of language, metaphysics and epistemology.
