The VOP…we, did not ask what Nigeria can do for us, but what we can do for NIGERIA, with our talents, our gifts, our strength, and our sacrifices, put up this PROJECT. Borrowing the words of MLKJ, put it in Nigeria perspective, If Nigeria is to be a great nation, this must become true.
And so let PEACE ring from the vast land of the north.
Let PEACE ring from the green land of the East.
Let PEACE ring from the rivers and treasures of the South-South.
Let PEACE ring from the air and grassroots of the West,
Let PEACE ring from the farmlands of the Central.
And when this happens, when we allow PEACE ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every states and every city, we will be able to speed up that day, when all Nigerians, Igbo Hausa and Yoruba, Muslims, Christians, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old AMALGAMATION, UNITY at last.
