What's the connection between Daniel 8 and Hanukkah? Or between Daniel 9 and the Roman Colosseum?

In this video we'll see how Daniel's vision of a ram and a goat in chapter 8 foretells of the Persian Empire being overtaken by Alexander the Great and Greece, bringing war and persecution with it (again echoing chapters 2 and 7). This is followed by a moving prayer by Daniel in chapter 9, asking for forgiveness on behalf of the Jews and for the restoration of Jerusalem.
