The taste of Summer continues with our temperatures this morning starting off in the low to mid 80s, with heat indices in the 90s.These above average temperatures continue into the afternoon hours with only a slight chance for a shower well inland. Highs today will be in the low 90s.South to southwest winds from mid-week through the weekend will result in well above normal temperatures and elevated humidity levels. Heat index values over 100 degrees are expected for much of the week, with values of 105-110 possible Wednesday through Saturday. Heat Advisories will likely be needed later this week with Excessive Heat Warnings Possible.
