HAPPY 2 YEAR YOUTUBE ANNIVERSARY

Whoa, it's been 2 years since I started making covers on YouTube! This year in particular has been amazing, not only have I passed 2,000 subs and almost am at 3,000, I started selling my covers, made a ton of new friends in the community and got to be a part of so many projects and started a Patreon! I am so very grateful to be doing this and hope I can do it for many more years to come!

The video, which was filmed at my friend Alex's house (and he also helped film the video too!) is the first attempt at a more cinematic video! And there is a lot of stuff I need to learn, like "maybe don't let it get that dark" or "Find a way to get a steadier shot", but I'm still very proud of this video!

In terms of this song, I had recently gotten into Dark Souls and beat the first game! This boss theme had such a huge impact because of how understated it was. Hearing all about Gwyn being an incredible soul and all the stuff you hear about him, reaching him was such an anticlimax in the best way imaginable. He's just a husk, holding on to what little life he has to stop you from putting out the flame. And I wanted to capture this in the cover, as the more energetic the song gets, the more desperate he gets. Hopefully this doesn't offend the entire DaS community and you guys enjoy.

ALSO, this cover was actually finished a while ago, but due to planning, I was never able to get the video ready for it, and I really wanted to do it right. My original cover is still on Loudr and on Spotify if you are curious!
