(RARE) EAS DUST STORM WARNING in Illinois.. again! | NOAA Weather Radio WXJ75 (4/16/24)

Continuing the saga of "Illinois's dust bowl revival", a rapidly developing dust storm took place on Interstate 72 between mile markers 80 and 85, affecting travel in the areas of New Berlin and Berlin in Sangamon County. NWS Lincoln took about 35 minutes to tone this warning out over NOAA Weather Radio where it then reached to FM, AM and TV outlets, and I was getting ready to record a YouTube Short for this channel over severe weather safety precautions when this was toned out. Like the dust storm warnings last year, this is an exceptionally rare occurrence in Illinois and one that I finally caught in person.
