Hands up if you know what a luthier is. It’s someone who makes guitars. In the Midwest regional city of Geraldton man, Archie Bunker is a self-taught luthier. After work you’ll find him tinkering away in his back shed transforming wood into gorgeous guitars. He’s hand-crafted 11 guitars since he stumbled across the art in 2006. Archie says the process is both relaxing and fun - and nothing beats the thrill of hearing the music that sounds after the first strum of its strings.
