Step-by-step guide to re-writing the period talk script

Periods are starting as early as age 8 and the only way to make sure our daughters feel confident and ready is to:

Start the conversation while kids are young (ages 4 and up)
Be silly and have fun. It helps to lighten up the mood so that when their actual period starts, kids might remember the laughs they had and know that they've got this.
Practice together. Hands-on activities are so much more engaging than long talks.

So here are the steps:
Step 1: Read our kids book "One in a Million - A First Book About Periods" to your child. It's available on Amazon.
Step 2: Practice pad placement, removal, and how to discard together.
Step 3: See how much water you can pour on a pad before it leaks.
Step 4: Dissect the pad and see what is inside.
Step 5: Give her a pad to tuck in her backpack so she's ready!
