In this special episode of Festive Delights with Nutralite, Chef Sanjeev Kapoor makes not one, but two irresistible recipes:
🍫 Crispy Choco Coconut Modak – A timeless favorite reimagined with a rich coconut and chocolate filling, crafted using Nutralite DoodhShakti Probiotic Butter Spread and Nutralite Crunchy Choco Spread. Perfect for those who cherish tradition with a touch of indulgence.
🍫 Chocolate Coconut Tarts – A modern take for the younger generation! These bite-sized tarts feature a crunchy coconut-chocolate filling, topped with festive flair and made irresistible with Nutralite Crunchy Choco Spread.
Whether you're preparing bhog for Bappa, hosting a puja, or simply celebrating with loved ones, these recipes blend tradition, taste, and a healthier touch of Nutralite — making them truly Sabke Liye Right.

CRISPY CHOCO COCONUT MODAK AND CHOCOLATE COCONUT TARTLETS

Ingredients

Stuffing
1 tbsp Nutralite Doodhshakti Probiotic Butter Spread
1½ cups scraped fresh coconut
½ cup Nutralite Choco Spread Crunchy
Dough
½ cup whole wheat flour + for dusting
½ cup refined flour
A pinch of salt
3 tbsps Nutralite Doodhshakti Probiotic Butter Spread + for greasing
Dried white peas as required
Golden varq for garnish
Blanched and slivered pistachios for garnish

Method

1. To make the stuffing, heat Nutralite Doodhshakti Probiotic Butter Spread in a nonstick pan, add coconut sauté for 5-6 minutes. Transfer in a bowl and allow to cool.
2. Add Nutralite Choco Spread Crunchy and mix well. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
3. To make the dough mix whole wheat flour, refined flour, salt and Nutralite Doodhshakti Probiotic Butter Spread in a bowl. Add ½ cup water and knead to stiff dough. Set aside for 10-15 minutes.
4. Divide the dough into 2 portions and further divide 1st portion into small balls.
5. Sprinkle some wheat flour on surface and roll the balls into small disks. You can cut the disks with a cookie cutter to get sharp edges.
6. Preheat the air fryer to 190˚C.
7. Place a portion of the stuffing on one side of the disk, pleat the edges of the dough and gather them together to form a bundle. Pinch to seal the edges at the top.
8. Grease air fryer basket with some Nutralite Doodhshakti Probiotic Butter Spread
9. Place the prepared modaks in the air fryer and brush some more Nutralite Doodhshakti Probiotic Butter Spread on top.
10. Air fry for 15 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.
11. Garnish the modaks with golden varq and serve
12. Preheat the oven at 180°C.
13. Grease tartlet moulds with Nutralite Doodhshakti Probiotic Butter Spread.
14. Roll the remaining dough into semi thick sheet and cut into small roundels with the help of a cookie cutter.
15. Line the roundels in tartlet moulds and dock with the help of a fork.
16. Add dried white peas in each tartlet and arrange on a small baking tray.
17. Bake in preheated oven for 12-13 minutes. Allow to cool.
18. Add a portion of the chocolate coconut mixture in the tartlet shells.
19. Garnish with pistachio slivers and serve.
