Adding fractions with unlike denominators using models.

Process Steps:
1.Draw 2 rectangles
2.In your 1st rectangle split it into your 1st fraction
Vertically
3.I your second rectangle split it into your second fractions
Horizontally
4.Shade in the portions based on the numerator and count them.
Flip flop the lines in each box
5.Lines from box 1 go-to box, lines from box 2 go-to box 1
6.Add the shaded portions together.
