Fly Fishing a Remote Mountain Lake for Wild Trout |Tips & Tactics|

Описание к видео Fly Fishing a Remote Mountain Lake for Wild Trout |Tips & Tactics|

With the end of the trout fishing season approaching, I decided to head back, up into the Cambrian mountains in search of some wild brown trout that reside in these incredible mountains.

For me, nothing beats fly fishing for these wild trout, the scenery, tranquility of the mountains and of course the beautiful fin perfect brown trout that reside there.... it really does captivate me.

The journey to the lakes is around an five hour drive for me, so I camped overnight in camper van and fished a few hours into one night, and then the next morning. This is part one, with part two to follow.

The main methods for these wild brown trout include fishing wet flies (I keep referring to them as nymphs in the video, a river habit !) dry flies and lures. I was hopefully to try and catch on a dry fly, but the conditions were not favourable.. maybe next time.

Tickets for these lakes (like many others and rivers) can be purchased via the fishing passport website and it's really easy to do.

I had to cut lots of the video to keep the time down but hopefully this gives some information on the tips and tactics for angling for these fish. I tried to cover as many questions from my previous videos so hopefully some of these insights have helped.

Part two will be up soon, As always, thanks for support and watching these videos.
