The best way to look at this device is as a smaller version of the Echo Show. the small rounded screen delivers much of the same information as the larger and more expensive Show. Like the show the functionality is limited to just Alexa commands, apps are not available for it.

All in it's a decent device for those invested in the Amazon eco system.
