Nationals Leader David Littleproud says the Albanese government faces a “difficult situation” after an Australian soldier fighting for Ukraine was reportedly captured by Russian troops.

“This isn’t something that Australians need to rush to think that it’s a great adventure running to the Ukraine,” Mr Littleproud told Sky News Australia.

“That’s a war zone, and bad things are going to happen.”
