Kodal Minerals (AIM:KOD) has secured its export permit for the Bougouni Lithium Project in Mali. The approval covers 125,000 tonnes of spodumene concentrate, with final steps for transport now underway.

Arecor Therapeutics (AIM:AREC) has received positive feedback from the FDA for its Phase 2 trial of AT278, an ultra-rapid insulin. The study will run in the US and could generate results in just six weeks.

Iofina (AIM:IOF, OTC:IOFNF) delivered record production in August, hitting 74.3 tonnes of iodine. The company also boosted cash reserves by $1.8 million thanks to tax credit refunds.

Gem Resources (LSE:GEMR) has raised £2.12 million to support its Gravelotte emerald mine and Curlew gold project. Investor Louis Ching now owns more than half the company and has stepped in as executive chairman.

Valereum (AQSE:VLRM) has rolled out a new payroll platform with its partner Fideum. The system lets companies pay staff in their choice of fiat or crypto.

Ecora Resources (LSE:ECOR, TSX:ECOR, OTCQX:ECRAF) will add Michael Falconer to its board as South32’s nominee. He brings over 20 years of mining sector experience, including senior roles at BHP and Lonmin.
