On a side note...It was a bit of an adventure filming the b-roll for this video. As always you're free to just listen or enjoy the hypnotic feminising visuals alongside the reading.

So I went to a country park. And so did the rain, the jogging club, and a man looking for his dog. We found his dog in the end. That's right, I did my witchy good deed for the day.

Have you heard of Butoh? You might notice a bit of witchy dancing and movements in my videos now and in future.

Well, Butoh is a kind of modern mystical Japanese dancing. I was introduced to it by a doctoral student who was studying it for her thesis. It encompasses a rejection of gender and traditional ideas about dance and beauty. I find it inspiring and its creepy movements rather hypnotic. Reminds me of bunraku puppets. Adds to the whole experience. Dancers typically paint themselves white, I figured white gloves would make up for that, and I'm creepily pale enough as it is.

It's also a 'dance of darkness.' Apt, don't you think?
