Описание к видео [mukbang/cookbang with THIEN]: Spanish Seafood Paella (Clams, Mussels, Prawns, and Blue Crabs)

Spanish-style seafood paella 🐙🦀🦐 is 'everything' it's cracked out to be; it even has an emoji 🥘. I've made this dish only once before and I remembered it being as glorious as it was in this episode. This time, however, I went above and beyond with the seafood (and their SIZE, for that matter).

I mentioned the price of Spanish saffron 💵💰 and I found that Costco carries the most affordable jar. Paella does not taste like 'paella' without that special (expensive) magic dust. 👌🏼😉

Enjoy the show!

MY 'AFTERSHOW' THOUGHTS 🤔:

[ASIAN AMERICAN]

**I want to apologize for using the term "colored" to describe a group of people; it is a term that encompasses all non-white peoples. However, the term was historically used negatively among an older generation of whites, and I regret using it in this video. I never meant to offend but it was incredibly insensitive - please forgive me.

[ASPIRING THERAPIST]

I'm not a trained psychiatric therapist, but I am educated; I was taught to think deeply and unconditionally.

This video was not created to defend nor condone criminal acts and/or behaviors; it was created to discuss preventative measures to ensure the safety of others. If you found this offensive, I apologize because it was not my intent.

I believe that all of life's details MUST be open for discussion, even the darkest ones. We, the intelligent creatures as we are, tend to excuse topics that make us feel uncomfortable and uneasy - I get it. However, DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE how 'complex' we are, mentally and emotionally.

We all possess deep-dark experiences, thoughts, and behaviors but when and how should we express it without government intervention and public ridicule? If you are unaware, confidentially between patient and therapist can be abolished and your confession to harm/violent intent will be reported. Well, what's the point in seeking psychiatric therapy? I'm not sure, really.

Some (not all) criminals acts can be prevented but it's entirely up to us to make this certain. We can't lock up our loved ones and keep them sheltered all the time - it just isn't realistic. However, we can fix the problem by addressing the ROOT CAUSE (the people with this mental disorder); that is where the problem lies.

If they've committed their crimes, then they rightfully deserve their fate! But what makes you think it's all over? There are many other potential "predators" out there. Now, ask yourself, what are the preventative measures we must take to help these people from committing such crimes? How can we help these people?

Open up your heart, have compassion, and fucking LISTEN.

I hope that I've made my point clear. This is not to undermine the experiences of affected victims.

I love you, and let's advance as humans. Please. ❤️
