Making pizza that reflects my roots | Filipino longanisa pizza 🇵🇭

Sure, it looks like sausage on pizza. But this? This is Filipino longanisa: a sweet, garlicky Filipino sausage I grew up eating with rice and eggs. A comfort food. A weekend breakfast. A flavor tied to memory.

I’ve never had “Filipino pizza” before, so this is one of the many experiences I’m documenting.. And longanisa felt like the right place to start, especially now that I get to learn more about it and make it from scratch (another video to come!).

This isn’t about reinventing longanisa or making it a trend.  It’s about holding onto a flavor that raised me,  and letting it show up in something new. 🍕
