ROC&TOK Webinar: Cement and CO2, the reality
Speaker: Prof. Karen Scrivener, Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland

This webinar addresses the environmental impact of cement and its carbon footprint. The construction sector is currently responsible for more than 20% of global annual CO2 equivalent emissions and between a quarter and half of these emissions are due to the production of cement. More sustainable cementitious materials are viable without drastically changing the industry and the practices currently in place.
