Wildlfire Fuels - ODF Southern Oregon Area Orientation

The Southern Oregon Area of the Oregon Department of Forestry is very diverse, in regards to nearly all aspects of Wildland Firefighting. The range and types of fuels is not surprising, and plays an important role in determining how wildfires are fought.
This video will give the viewer an introduction & overview to the vast array of wildland fire fuels, fuel types, and where certain fuels can be expected. New firefighters and those new to the area should always seek out local knowledge when fighting fire in the SOA.
