1 The surface needs to be clean, dry and free of dust.
2 Apply an even layer of glue with the help of a small toothed spatula and remove any excess glue.
3 Sprinkle rubber granules on top of the glue, and gently even out the surface with the aid of a spatula.
4. Press the granules down after the glue is applied ( a piece of wood is ideal) and then press again at least once more 1-2 hours later to stop the granules from being raised by the expanding glue. Repeating this step several times will give a more even finish.
5 In warm, dry conditions, the glue requires 7 days to dry and harden before being used. During colder, damper conditions the glue can take considerably longer before drying.
6 When the glue is completely dry, any excess rubber granules can be brushed off.
