Описание к видео Lesson Part 1/10: Wayne by John Frusciante

Part 2:    • Lesson Part 2/10: How to Play Wayne by Joh...

Tab terms explanation:
h - hammer on
p - pull off
b - bend
r - release bend
bx (x=a number): Bend until you you get the xth note. For example 14b16 means that you will fret the 14th note and then bend it two half notes up (so you get the same note as if you're fretting the 16th note).
\/ - press tremolo arm down and up.
\/... - press tremolo arm down and up several times.

Fun fact: I balanced my phone (which I recorded the video with) on a bunch of stuff in order to record this. I accidentally touched the stuff with my foot at about 0,21, which almost caused the phone to fall off, which might would have broken it.

Have received some questions regarding the sound. I don't remember it that well but here's my answer:

I didn't have my tube Marshall amp or my SM57 (mic) at this point so I used my transistor amp (a Line 6 Spider Jam, which I haven't been using since I got the Marshall) and plugged it directly into the computer, which generally ends up to sound more "computerized" (also commonly referred to as "bad"). So when I think back to this video I judge the sound based on the "lack" of gear (compared to now), but maybe it isn't that bad after all.

Anyway, to answer the actual question... I do believe I had my pedals then so I probably used the DS-2 and, like you guessed, the Big Muff Pi USA. I think I tried some fuzz pedal in Logic but I don't remember if I used it. Also the settings on my amp affected the sound (obviously) but I don't remember the settings at all. I think that's about it.

I do not own proper camera equipment since I do not know if anyone will watch my content. Therefore the quality is not that great and during one part it is shaky. If you like my content make sure to support my my subscribing and liking the videos you like. If enough people enjoy my content I will invest in proper camera equipment and therefore provide you with higher quality videos.
