Gordon Lightfoot Live in Boston MA (April 3rd, 1977)

Описание к видео Gordon Lightfoot Live in Boston MA (April 3rd, 1977)

This a live performance of Gordon Lightfoot back in 1977 at the Boston Symphony Hall. I first came across this recording early last year and have posted some songs from the show on the channel before. But, recently I decided to upload the whole concert. It is a very high quality recording and everything can be heard really well. I did add some reverb to boost the audio a bit better. but it really didn't need much tweaking.

Mr. Lightfoot and his band were in top performance during this show. The concert begins with a rare performance of "Summerside of Life" and even includes a very early version of "Hangdog Hotel Room" likely before it was recorded and eventual release on "Endless Wire" the following year.
There's also some funny audience banter as well, including a story about Gordon being requested to perform a song at the White House for the recent inauguration that year.

Hope you all enjoy!
