Today i hiked the Richard Martin Rail Trail in Elkmont, Alabama. I parked at down town Elkmont and hiked south to the battle of sulpher creek trestle site which was an 1864 Civil War battle. Then i hiked further south to the swamp/wetland area. About a 3.5 mile round trip.
