During their 14 year run the K3 Sisters Band has secured national attention from Good Morning America, the Smithsonian Museum of American History, National Public Radio, TV News Stations, and has garnered close to 2 billion views on social media. But despite a total lack of chart topping paper success and limited radio play they have managed to perform thousands of live stream concerts, fan meetups, music videos and viral short form videos on TikTok, Reels and Shorts for international fandoms including Harry Potter, Miraculous Ladybug and One Piece Live Action in addition to their own loyal and eccentric tribe of followers known as the K3SB FAM. Why the discrepancy?

The discrepancy is due to several factors including the fact that their followers know that studio albums and top 40 radio play can’t bottle the true magic of their success. Although they’ve released 14 albums to date, the real magic is found in their live performances and the ways in which they connect meaningfully with a huge international following on the internet instead of in person.

As an example, on 12/29/23 during an online birthday celebration for Kristen’s 20th birthday thousands of their fans were treated to a casual and gleeful time together enjoying her opening presents, cutting up with sisters Kaylen and Kelsey, while they commented back to on line comments and good vibes flooding in, and sang tongue in cheek impromptu versions of some of their popular songs. Kristen even gave everybody a “virtual bite” of her custom Slytherin-themed green birthday cake made by Kelsey who doubles as a baker in addition to her roles as bandmate and technical advisor to the entire do it yourself, direct to fan enterprise.

Another clue to the magic of their success is that all of their original music and past concerts are available for free listening on their website and social media, however, none of it is on Apple Music or Spotify. Many of the K3SB FAM show their appreciation for this by sending the girls super chats, tips and gifts during their live streams and by mail. There are simply no traditional music business middlemen standing in the way between the girls and their fans.

This New Year’s Eve, 12/31/23 the K3 Sisters Band will deliver two free live stream concerts to planet earth at 8:00am CT and 10pm CT respectively in order to attempt to reach their decentralized fan base live in over 100 countries, and in every world time zone.
