Merritt Island Boat Works (MIBW) and Vac-Con, Inc. are building their industry-leading products in Florida. MIBW makes the Ocean Alexander 70e luxury yacht in Brevard County at its recently refurbished facility. The $16 million facility will eventually employ more than 350 Floridians.

About 45 minutes south of Jacksonville, Vac-Con, Inc. manufactures its custom-built, truck-mounted machines. The company started in 1986 with three people and now employs more than 330. They are currently undergoing an expansion that will bring more than $10 million in capital investments.
